What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Apprentice Broking Administrator, you’ll dive into the world of insurance, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights. Your responsibilities will include:
Understanding Insurance: Grasping the fundamentals of Insurance Principles, compliance and the broking market.
Client Interaction: Taking calls, handling queries, and assisting with renewals and new business cases.
Policy Management: Liaising with colleagues on placement strategies, requesting underwriting information, and administering mid-term changes to risk.
Negotiation & Analysis: Supporting the preparation of market presentations, analysing quotes, and negotiating cover and premiums with insurers.
Claims Support: Assisting in the claims process from start to finish.
Administrative Duties: Including accounts and general day-to-day tasks.
Training & Qualifications:
You’ll embark on a comprehensive learning journey, including:
Level 3 Insurance Practitioner – Broking: Fully and part-funded programme leading to the Level 3 CII Certificate in Insurance.
Tailored Learning Pathways: Specific to roles such as Claims Handler/Loss Adjuster, Assistant Underwriter, and Junior Broker.
CII Membership & Support: Membership of the CII, support from Wiser Academy including study books, exam entries and all training.
Interactive Learning Experience through Aviva’s Development Zone: weekly workshops, on-demand recordings, real-time support, exam strategies, and regular tutorials with experienced insurance professionals.
Career Progression:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you may be offered a permanent position within the company, opening doors to further growth and opportunities.
