Our Broking Desk are happy are delighted that Georgia Lucy has joined them this month as an Account Handler.
We really are a champion for young people joining the industry. Georgia started out with a job in travel insurance after finishing her A Levels in Business Finance and Psychology in 2018. She states herself that “I did not know what I wanted to do so I applied for lots of different jobs”, but she knew she wanted a career that would challenge her and give her room for growth. She successfully moved over to the world of personal lines in 2021 with Brownhill Insurance Group and continued that journey with Howdens Insurance until joining Movo this month. Again Georgia’s main reason for moving on in her career was to try something different within the world of insurance broking and being part of the broking desk team appealed to her.
Outside of work a lot of her free time is spent with her horse where they go out and compete in local competitions.
In May of this year, she climbed Ben Nevis and also raised £3,000 for charity by completing a wing walk. Georgia is definitely a daredevil adventurer and in her own words “always likes to look for new things to try”.
